ANOTHER ONE BITES THE DUST

As a finale' to the 2011 ReadTheBookMinistries.Blogspot.com I give you the award presentation of my beloved RRT.  We love giving back to help ourselves as much as our fellow recovery Brothers and Sisters.  Just keep in mind we too have members who still struggle and have need from time to time to go through another treatment, Just keep doing what the Big Book says and work your program, keep in touch with your sponsor, aqnd pray like there is no tomorrow because there lies the truth for the program and the serenity we all seek.  God bless and keep you all til 2012.

CMA Blesses a new UltraGlide Trike

Just Three days after having his previous Trike Blessed A Crazy guy with a Saleem Mustang Lost control at 95 miles an hour coming up on his rear and hit his Left rear Tire and spun him and his wife and wiped out a new Goldwing that was traveling with him. Both bikes were totaled but God protected them both so as the trike owner bought his new machine he called us over to bless it immediately.  Just another Brotherly Love task we do in the CMA for free.  There are those who don't know of our creed and purpose but they find that we are for all bikers no matter their background because we have the gospel to share with them one heart art a time.

My Gains Far exceeded my Losses this year. Kind of funny things work out that way but if you put life into the correct perspective and get out of your self-centered ego, you truly have a serenity and a freedom that can't truly be explained to the general public, they just think we are freaks or whatever. No matter all that matters for me and the members of Disciples of Christ Church is Jesus is the reason we are here and He has his desire we are all striving to accomplish and offer our thanks and praises on a daily basis.

Tasty Recipes Come From Heaven

White Velveeta and Jalapeno Cheese Arroz con Maize with Fire Roasted Tomatoes and Onions

One Pound White Velveeta with Jalapenos
1 Medium yellow onion
1 11 oz. can summer corn
1 14.5 oz. can Diced Salsa style Fire Roasted Tomatoes in puree sauce
2 Tbs. Butter
1 Tbs. Extra Virgin Olive Oil
3/4 cup milk
2 cups white rice Medium Grain
Pam cooking spray to prevent sticking

Dice onion into 1/8 inch cubes, put butter in skillet add EVOO, and onions cook over medium high flame until slightly caramelized. Add can of tomatoes with puree do not drain. Cook on low heat til thoroughly hot. Cube Cheese into 1/2 inch blocks and add milk into a microwave safe dish with a sealing cover and nuke on high for two minutes. Remove and stir thoroughly making sure cheese is now a nacho sauce consistency, ,let sit covered while you prepare rice in 4 cups cold water add 2 cups rice salt to taste and 1 Tbls. EVOO. Bring to rolling boil and reduce heat to low and let steam for 20 minutes or until liquid absorbed. Add Drained can corn and hot tomatoes and hot cheese in a bowl and toss thoroughly. Spray Crock pot with Pam and add dish and turn on low setting. Dish will keep 12 hours in crock pot, or you can let cool and freeze for future side dish needs.

Merry Christmas and Have a Blessed Meal

Merry Christmas to all and have a Happy and Sober New Year.

Karaoke has afforded me with a new Hobby which gives me strength and more Lung function than I had before I started doing it. I suppose that putting forth effort of any type will give you a marked improvement in your base health. This year I have decided to make a resolution which aims directly at a major character defect of mine. Selfishness;I will make every effort to do for others and forgo my self-centered only child mentality of everything I want I get and to heck with everybody else. I will give of my time and services and especially monetarily in my family and tithes and offerings. Do you have a character defect you need to address this year with a resolution too? Seven is the number tied to perfection. Today I reached my Seventh month of sobreity. Do I feel perfection? I Think not, I

do feel the comfort of the Lords Blessing and a new strength that I myself have never had before. {Psalms 2:11} tells us

{Obey the Lord with great fear.Be Happy, But Tremble.} I have the Knowledge to respect what the Lord has given me but at

all times my guard is sharp to Satan's sneaky ways of trying to make me falter and cause relapses. Praise God for the

strenght he has given me and praise God for the FEAR I hold in reference to maintaining my sobreity. As for today I have

no need to fallback to that failed lifestyle. My heating system has gone south and I used 1/4 of my latest gas purchase in

just four days. The heater cut off and on repeatedly and burned way too much gas for the temperature I had it set to.

Today a Heating and the AC company will come and inspect my unit and diagnose my problem. Will I have a slight part

failure that will be inexpensive to fix or will it be a major replacement due to the age of the system? I choose to

believe it will be an inexpensive part, Because the Bible tells me to go thru life with a positive attitude. Not fearful

of failure and setting up Satan to be able to create havoc with my life. You see if your attitude is right then Satan is

defeated from the start and things go more smoothly than you'd possibly imagine.

Disciples of Christ is gaining strength and momentum. All who come here and share in out online Prayers and take positive

actions in our lives gain success in our battles with our Hurts, Hang-ups, and Habits. Ultimately we are given positive

results in our search for Sobreity, serenity, and Ultimately salvation. Praise God and Remember John 14:6...
